Gas Works Fun on A Good Lake Union Day
My camera was out of juice on one of my walks around Lake Union, but luckily Brian had his phone and took some great shots from the top of the hill at Gas Works.
It looks like maybe a practice kite for Kite surfing which is one of items on my life to do list. I thought I was a little too old to learn until I saw a sixty something year old man do it at Jetty Island. Urban Surf just North of Gasworks has supplies for not only Kite Surfing, but also Stand up Paddle boarding aka SUP (also on my list).
Am I wrong?
Is it something else? Like a glider or something? I have no idea – I just know it was windy and we both thought he was going in the lake while watching him.
Every time we walk around Lake Union, we see something new. There is always something fascinating to see. Do you have any cool pictures of things you have seen around the lake?
